When will I receive my order?

Our products are available for instant download when your payment is processed through PayPal. After you have completed the checkout with PayPal, you will return to the website for downloading.  Sometimes this can take a few minutes, so be patient!

Note: Orders paid via echeck option at Paypal will find the download of your designs delayed until the bank has cleared the funds. This normally takes 3-4 days. If you choose to send a money order by US mail, please allow 3-5 days for the post office to deliver your payment to me. Once your money order is received, I will email you that your designs are available to download.

How can I use your designs?

Clipart offered on Dowdy Doodles is acceptable for resale when they have been made into another product such as printables, embroidery designs, or other finished products. You cannot share my clipart or webgraphics as they are purchased! You CAN use my clipart, webgraphics, and embroidery designs to make your own products and sell your own products. The only exception is the Reseller clipart. These collections are created especially for resale. But, you may not offer them for your customer to resell. The Color-It clipart is created for you to color and add patterns, shading, or highlights so you can sell them. The finished product is yours but the original clipart cannot be resold "as-is", a black and white image.

Please refer to the Conditions of Use page for acceptable use of my images.

I've lost my designs. Can you resend them?

Yes, if your purchase was made after July 18, 2010, you need to send me proof of purchase from your PayPal account, or your order number from the cart. Most times you will be able to re-download anything you have purchased thru the cart. However any designs purchased before July 18, 2010 will need the order number from the cart and I will do my best to locate your purchase details. All purchases made before July 18, 2010 have been archived so we could complete the move to our new server.

How do I open the files?

Your downloads will be sent in a zipfile. You can use your operating system's zip extractor or any other extraction program. If you are using WinXP, right click on the zipfile and you will see the options to extract the files. WinZip® is a free open source program which can be used to open a variety of archive formats including rar and zip. You can download WinZip® on the company's website Here. They offer a paid program as well as their free version. The free version is all you need to extract the files to your computer.

When I try to unzip the file it tells me it's corrupted. What do I do?

Corrupted zip files are 99% of the time caused by what is called packet loss during the download process. This means that if your internet connection has even the slightest of disturbance during the download process, it will cause a millisecond interruption to the data stream and your download will not be downloaded completely. Even if you get 99.999999% of the file, it still will not open properly.

Try downloading the file again and if the problem persists, email me using the contact form in case the file was corrupted during the upload process and I will need to upload the file again.
